Frederick Gordon SPARKES

SPARKES, Frederick Gordon Passed away quietly at Rideaucrest Home, on Friday, July 8, 2005, at the age of 88. He had retired from the Correctional Services after 25 years of service as a tailor instructor. He enjoyed boating and was a Past Commander of the Kingston Power and Sail Squadron, a 25 year volunteer at the Marine Museum of the Great Lakes and a Past President of the Correctional Officers Retiree Association. He is survived by his wife Dorothy, daughter Barbara (George) and granddaughte rs Erin and Holly Wilcox. In keeping with Fred's wishes , cremation will be followed by a private graveside service, at Cataraqui Cemetery.As an expression of sympathy donations may be made to The Diabetes Association in Mr. Sparkes' memory.
