BENTLEY, Vera Peacefully at Perth and Smiths Falls District Hospital (Smiths Falls Site) on Thursday, July 14, 2005. Vera Welch, in her 90th year. Widow of Harold R. Bentley. Dear mother of Sharren Bentley of Brockville, Doug Bentley of Brockville, R on (Barb) Bentley of RR 1, Elgin, Bruce (Sandra) Bentley of North Carolina, Gary (Jill) Bentley of Franktown. Dear sister of Sarah Gard of Elgin, Ila McTavish of Kingston. Predeceased by sister Hattie Swain and brothers, Gerald, Ralph, Elmer and Earl Welch. Fondly remembered by eleven grandchildren and six great grandchildren. Also survived by several nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends at the Scotland Funeral Home, 27 Main Street, Elgin on Sunday from 7-9. Funeral Service in Our Chapel on Monday morning at 11 o'clock. Inurnment Halladay Cemetery, Elgin at a later date.
