SHETLER, Lorne M. RCAF - 429 Squadron W.W.II - P.O.W. It is with overwhelming sadness that we announce the passing of our father Lorne M. Shetler, in his 89th year, at Helen Henderson Care Centre, on September 14, 2005. Predeceased just four short we eks ago by his loving wife Ruth. He will be greatly missed and lovingly remembered by his four daughters and their families; Lynne Zeran (Bruce, deceased) of Kingston; Barbara Kempe (Adriaan) of Waterloo; Carol Martin (Paul Monahan) of Barrie; and Je anie Quirt Brown (Nicholas Brown) of Jones Falls. He will live forever in the hearts and memories of his grandchildren, Brad Asselstine (Sarah Brown), Amy and Adam Martin, Jennifer and Jaclyn Quirt. Proud great-grandfather to Owen and Ella Asselstine . Brother of Gordon, Victor and Ralph. Predeceased by parents Stuart and Ethel, sisters Hazel and Helen; brothers Robert and Harold. The family will receive friends at the Wannamaker-Tierney Funeral Home, Napanee, 354-3341 Friday evening from 6:30-9: 00 p.m. Funeral Service in the Chapel on Saturday, September 17, 2005 at 11:00 a.m. (Visitation 1 hour prior to service). Interment Riverview Cemetery.
