Edward Harry PEARCE

PEARCE, Dr. Edward Harry Director of Development, Queen's University Unexpectedly on Monday, October 3, 2005 at the Kingston General Hospital with his family by his side. After 60 years of unconditional love and kindness, our hearts ache to announce the passing of a true gentleman and man of faith. Ed was the lifelong sweetheart to his wife Beverly. His children Heather and Curtis Jackson, Bethany and Mark Rouble, and Bramwell and Anita Pearce will forever cherish and love him. Allison Joy prede ceased him in 1976. Ashley, Katelyn and Andrew will miss their papa and will have many great memories in the backyard playhouse that Ed built for them. Ed will also be missed by his parents Edward and Christina Pearce, brother Garry Pearce (Gael), si ster Linda (Bert) and his sister-in-law Jan Pearce. Predeceased by his brother Darry. Edward had a passion for his career, his church and his community. He was an active member of the Kingston Rotary Club (Paul Harris Fellow recipient), and an active participant of the many activities and ministries of The Salvation Army. Resting at the James Reid Funeral Home, Cataraqui Chapel (1900 John Counter Boulevard) on Wednesday from 2-4 & 7-9 pm and on Thursday, October 6 at Grant Hall, University Avenu e on the Queen's University Campus from 12:30 pm until the time of the funeral service at 1:30 pm. Interment Cataraqui Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy, memorial donations made to The Salvation Army Kingston Citadel Building Fund would be appreci ated by the family.
