THORNE, Reverend Robert E. L.S.T. (Father Bob) 1921 - 2005 Suddenly at Kingston General Hospital on Wednesday, October 5, 2005, a week shy of his birthday. Loving Husband and Best Friend for the past 58 years of Nadine. Loving father of Doug and Don (Rose Marie). Devoted grandfather and papa of Stephanie, Kelly and Amanda. Dear brother of Ruth Browne (Jack) of Klienburg, Ontario. Friends will be received at the Township Chapel of the Gordon F. Tompkins Funeral Homes, 435 Davis Drive on on Friday , October 7th from 7 until 9 p.m. Brothers of the Lorne Masonic Lodge #404 will observe a Fraternal Service from 6 to 6:30 p.m., all sister lodges invited, and the Royal Canadian Legion Branch 496 will hold a Legion Service from 6:30 to 7 p.m. Friend s and family will also be received on Saturday from 10 until time of service at 11 a.m., in Our Chapel. Archdeacon James McShane along with the clergy of the diocese of Ontario officiating. Cremation will follow.
