ROY, Joseph Emile Miville `Pete' April 28, 1948 - October 6, 2005 32 year Officer Corrections Canada Life Member Royal Canadian Legion We regret to announce the passing of a wonderful, loving man, Emile `Pete' Roy, on Thursday, October 6, 2005, surro unded with love by his wife Sheryl, daughters Tanya Roy, Chantal Jack and husband Craig, Shana O'Neill and husband Joe. Pete peacefully passed away at St. Mary's on the Lake Hospital in Kingston. Emile was the youngest son of his predeceased parents Alphonse and Aurore Roy of Kingston, will be sadly missed by his brothers and sisters, Jeannine Godin and husband Armand of Maisonnette N.B., Lucille Minifie and husband Al of Brockville, ON., Marcel Roy and wife Betty-Ann, Lise Steenburgh and husban d Gerry and John Paul Roy and wife Claudette, all from Kingston, plus many nieces, nephews and cousins. Along with being a wonderful husband, father and brother, Pete was grandpa to 3 beautiful boys Callum Roy, Cameron McGreachan and Conner Emile wit h one more on the way. He was a caring and loving step-father to Angela, who will never forget him. At Legion Branch 623 comrades and friends will feel his loss. Many of his formal colleagues-friends throughout his years will fondly remember Pete for his upfront personality, humour, attention to detail, and especially his love for his family and friends. An intimate service will be held at Royal Canadian Legion Branch 623 Bath (County Road #4 Millhaven) at 1 p.m. on Sunday, October 16th with a c elebration of Pete's life and love immediately to follow. All are welcome. A special thank you is extended on behalf of Pete and his family to Aiden and Jennifer of All-Care, Dr. Stewart and all the excellent nurses at KGH and St. Mary's that helped us through this incredible journey.
