JEFFS, Annie Margaret `Anne' (Longtime member of Queen Street United Church and Class 27, Kingston, active member of Optimist Club of Kingston and volunteer for the Canadian Cancer Society) The family of Anne Jeffs lost their loving mother and grandm other on Thursday, October 6, 2005, in her 90th year. Beloved wife of the late Jack Jeffs for 63 years. Loving and dedicated mother of Sally and her husband Ed Hanowski of Oshawa. Proud and cherished Grandma of Kevin and his wife Erin Hanowski and Ch ristopher Hanowski, all of Toronto. Fondly remembered by her cousins, nieces and their families. Only daughter of the late Nellie and Bashford Close. Anne cherished all her life long friends and she will always be remembered for her gift of friendshi p. A heartfelt thank you to Barb and Mike Henton for always being there. A special thanks to Dr. Reed and to all of Mom's support workers at ThorntonView and to her special new friend, June Edwards, who always looked out for her and was a great sourc e of comfort. Many thanks to Dr. Peter Noble whose great care and many visits helped Anne and Jack to remain in their home for so many years. A private family service was held on Friday, October 14, 2005 to celebrate both the lives of Anne and Jack J effs followed by inurnment at Mount Lawn Cemetery.
