DAVIS, Harold Nelson Proud Veteran of World War II Royal Canadian Legion, Branch 560 Suddenly at the Kingston General Hospital on Friday, October 14, 2005, at the age of 81 years. Beloved husband of Jean for 60 years. Loving father of Sandra Cooley ( Ron) of Amherstview. Lovingly remembered by six grandchildren and nine great grandchildren, as well as many nieces and nephews. Dear son of the late William and Sarah Davis. Predeceased by his son Keith John Davis, great grandson Brett Berghout, his brothers Lonnie and Edward and by his sisters Pearl, Mabel, Gladys, Agnes and Deltra. Resting at the James Reid Funeral Home, Cataraqui Chapel (1900 John Counter Boulevard) on Sunday evening from 7-9. Members of Royal Canadian Legion, Branch 560 are requested to assemble at the funeral home on Sunday evening at 7:30, for a legion service of remembrance. Funeral Monday, October 17, 2005 for service in chapel of the funeral home at 11am, the Reverend Laurie McKnight-Walker officiating. Interment C ataraqui Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy, memorial donations made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or to Hospice Kingston would be appreciated by the family.
