FRANCIS, Shirley Peacefully at home after a long illness, borne with grace and determination on Sunday, October 16, 2005, at the age of 84. Shirley is predeceased by her beloved husband Sidney and her son David. She will be dearly missed by her child ren; Lesley Woodward (Mark), Jim (Corinne), Betty Arnold (Paul) and Jack (Tracey). Nanny to Robert, Philip, Netanya, Leah, Jason, Heather, Amber, Jamie, Kori and Aaron. Devoted and caring friends Marie Leggett and Rita Beals. Resting at the James Rei d Funeral Home, Cataraqui Chapel (John Counter Blvd. at Highway 2). Liturgy of the Word in the Chapel on Friday, October 21, 2005 at 1:00 p.m. followed by interment at Cataraqui Cemetery. Friends will be received Thursday from 7-9 p.m. In lieu of flo wers, donations may be made to the Cancer Centre of South Eastern Ontario at KGH or the Lung Association in Shirley's memory.
