ALMA LORRAINE BOUCHER After a hard struggle, Alma Lorraine Boucher passed away peacefully into the waiting arms of her husband at the Hamilton Health Sciences Centre on Wednesday, Sept. 28, 2005 in the company of her family. She was 77. Alma, known affectionately as “Doodle” to many of us, left us as she lived—giggling, happy, and loving her life and family. For 24 years, she waited patiently to be with the man she loved. Mom finally got her wish. She is survived by her sisters, Jane, Nora, and Leona; sister-in-law, Ilene; numerous nieces and nephews; her God-daughter, Sylvia, and her children, George, Ernie (Sandy), Sandi (Ken), and Robert; and her grandchildren, Anthony, Kyle, Kelly, Kirt (Kristina and great-grandchild, Tyrese), Beckie (Roy), Kaz (Josh), Keith, and Breanna. Alma was predeceased by her parents; her loving husband, Leo; her sisters, Deana and Maggie; and her brothers, Randy and Sam. Cremation has taken place and a memorial service to honour Alma’s life will be held Tuesday, Oct. 4, 2005 at 1 p.m. at the Sargent & Son Funeral Home, 21 N. Court Street, in Thunder Bay, Ont., with Rev. Alan Campeau presiding. A private interment will be held at a later date. Donations in honour of Alma’s life can be made to the Ontario Heart and Stroke Foundation. On-line condolences may be made at www.sargentandson.com
