Gordon Andross, 61 Gordon Andross, a resident of St. Lawrence Lodge, died on Sept. 20, 2005 at Brockville General Hospital at the age of 61. He was born March 19, 1944 in Brockville to parents Joseph Andross and Doris Redmond. His interests were hockey, stock car races and camping. He is survived by his brother Barry Andross and wife Debbie of Roebuck, his nieces and nephews Carrieann MacGillivray (Brent), Tina Andross, Cory Andross (Carrie), Shawn Andross and Barry Andross Jr., and by several great nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents and his brothers Kevin and Michael Andross. Family and friends visited the Chris Slater Funeral Home on Sept. 22, 2005. The funeral service took place on Sept. 23 in the chapel. Reverend Gerry Ring officiated. Pallbearers were Cory, Shawn and Barry Andross Jr., Brent MacGillivray, Burt Haystead, Marc Herbison and Milford Brown. Burial took place on Sept. 23 at Sandy Hill Cemetery. Memorial donations can be made to the Cerebral Palsy Association and the Canadian Cancer Society.
