MacLAGGAN, LLOYD The death of Lloyd MacLaggan of Boiestown, NB husband of the late Ethel (Flewelling) MacLaggan occurred on Saturday October 22, 2005 at the Central New Brunswick Nursing Home. Born in Nashwaak Bridge, NB he was a son of the late Charles and Annie (MacDonald) MacLaggan. Lloyd was a retired woods worker and was affiliated with St. Lukes United Church in Nashwaak Bridge, NB. Lloyd is survived by one daughter Joyce Staples (Douglas) of McGivney, NB; two sons George MacLaggan of McGivney, NB and his wife Tanya of Boiestown, NB and Samuel MacLaggan (Loretta) of Astle, NB; eleven grandchildren; many great grandchildren; one sister Gertrude MacDonald of Nashwaak Bridge, NB; two brothers William MacLaggan (Gracie) and Rolfe MacLaggan both of Fredericton, NB; one sister-in-law Ina MacLaggan of Nashwaak Bridge, NB and several nieces and nephews. Besides his wife and parents Lloyd was predeceased by one son Lyle MacLaggan; two sisters Gracie Manzer and Ruby Fullerton; two brothers Frederick and MacDonald MacLaggan; two half brothers George and Lyle MacLaggan; one granddaughter Marsha MacLaggan ; two grandsons Edward MacLaggan and Dana Munn. Visitation will take place at York Funeral Home 302 Brookside Drive, Fredericton, NB on Monday from 7-9 pm. A funeral service will be held at York Funeral Home's T. Gordon MacLeod Memorial Chapel on Tuesday October 25, 2005 at 2 pm with Pastor Pat McAloon officiating. Pallbearers for the service will be John Staples, Robert MacLaggan, Trevor Collins, David and Christopher Coughlan and Mark Wilkenson. Interment will take place in the Nashwaak Bridge Community Cemetery. A reception will follow at the Nashwaak Bridge Legion. For those who wish remembrances made to the Parkinson Foundation or to a charity of the donor's choice would be appreciated by the family.
