JOHNSON, WILLIAM "BILLY" MARTIN - Unexpectedly, at his residence in Blacks Harbour, NB on Friday, October 21, 2005, Mr. William "Billy" Martin Johnson, husband of Sandy Johnson. Born in Blacks Harbour, NB on January 9, 1967, he was a son of Lillian Rose (James) Johnson and the late Martin Lloyd Johnson. A loving husband, father, son and brother, he is survived, besides his wife, by two sons, Martin and Dwayne and two daughters, Diandra (Dede) and Tricia, all of Blacks Harbour; his mother, Lillian Johnson (Don Mann) of Keswick Ridge; maternal grandmother, Annabelle (Thurston) Reid of Carrs Ridge, NB; three brothers, Gerry (Linda) of Saint John, Darren (Audrey) of Pennfield and Wade (Darlene) of Blacks Harbour; several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews. He was predeceased, besides his father, by a brother, Michael Dwayne. Billy was a self employed fisherman who loved and lived for the water. He enjoyed diving and urchin fishing as well as lobster fishing. He designed his own boat, which he named 'Sandy's Girls'. He was a devoted family man and a friend to all who knew him. By request, there will be no visiting at the funeral home. To celebrate his life, a memorial service will be held at Calvary Baptist Church in Blacks Harbour on Tuesday at 3 pm with Rev. Bruce Alcorn and Rev. Keith Osborne officiating. In Billy's memory, donations to the Charlotte County Cancer Society, or a charity of the donor's choice, would be appreciated by the family.
