Lilian Florence Schimpf November 05, 1914 - October 25, 2005 Funeral arrangements by Leyden's Funeral Home (Calgary) Mrs. Lilian Schimpf of Calgary passed away at Forest Grove Care Centre on October 25, 2005 at the age of 90 years. Lilian is survived by her sons: Ronald of Surrey, BC and Bob (Audrey) of Calgary; daughter Louisa (Al) Gagne of Calgary; eight grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and sister Audrey Grant. She was predeceased by her son James; daughter June and daughter-in-law Clara. Lilian was born and educated in Calgary, where she resided for most of her life. A Celebration of Lilian’s life will be held on Saturday, October 29, 2005 at 12:30 p.m. at Emmanuel Lutheran Church (3003-28 St. SE), with Rev. Dennis Aicken officiating. In lieu of flowers, donations in Lilian’s name may be made to the Cerebral Palsy Association of Alberta (3540–26 Avenue S.W., Calgary, AB T3E 0R6).
