PICKEL, MURIEL JESSIE The death of Muriel Jessie Pickel, wife of the late John Courtney Pickel, occurred on Tuesday, October 25, 2005 at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Born on December 15th, 1910 in Arthurette, NB, she was the daughter of the late Ernest and Janet (Beverage) Morris. Survived by one son John and his wife Jean Pickel of Saint John, four grandchildren Susan Pickel, Mary Beth Pickel, Beverly and her husband Graham Janes and Robert Pickel, great- granddaughter Katelynn Pickel MacDonald and her 3 nieces and nephew. She was predeceased by her brothers Cecil, Vernon and Franklin Morris and sisters Winnifred Sherlock and Dora Wilson. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Brenan's Bay View Select Community Funeral Home, 1461 ManawagonishRoad (634-7425), Saint John, NB. By the request of Muriel there will be no visitation. A graveside service will held at St. John the Evangelist Church Cemetery, Main Street, Fredericton North.
