MACMILLAN, CHARLINE ALTA MAE The death of Charline Alta Mae MacMillan, wife of the late James C. A. MacMillan, occurred peacefully at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Hospital, Fredericton, NB on October 25, 2005. Born in Caruthersville, Missouri on August 21, 1913, she was the daughter of the late Fred K. and Hazel (Keerens) Nations. She attended Teachers College in Missouri and the University of California in Los Angeles and taught in Missouri. She attended St. Andrews Presbyterian Church in Fredericton and belonged to the Order of the Eastern Star. Mrs. MacMillan is survived by two nephews, Thomas Hodge of California and Jack Taylor of Montana. Besides her parents she is predeceased by her husband in 1994, her sister, Josephine Taylor (Jack) in 2004, her brother Fred K. Nations and two nephews. Funeral arrangements are entrusted to McAdam's Select Community Funeral Home where a private memorial service will be held. Rev. Doug Blaikie will officiate The family wishes to thank Dr. Ian MacDonald and nurses at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Hospital for their attentive care of Charline during her recent illness.
