FERRIS, CATHERINE ELIZABETH - The death of Catherine Elizabeth Ferris of Saint John, NB, wife of the late Carl A. Ferris, occurred on Friday, October 28, 2005 at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Born in Bloomfield Ridge, NB a daughter of the late Victor and Elizabeth (Kelley) Norrad, Catherine was a retired teacher and had taught in New Brunswick and Quebec. As an active member of Edith Avenue United Baptist Church she was involved in the Women's Missionary Society and the Seniors Club. Survived by three sons: Roger (Sandra) of Montreal,QC, Gerald of Saint John and Phillip (Katerina) of Moncton, NB; one daughter, Nora Ferris of Saint John; three sisters: Anna Brankley, Crystal Krick and Carole Rolston, all of Ontario; seven grandchildren, three great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by four sisters: Neola, Patricia, Jean and Marjorie and two brothers, Paul and Donald. Funeral arrangements are under the care of Brenan's Select Community Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John (506) 634-7424 with visiting on Sunday 7-9 pm and Monday 2-4 and 7-9 pm. Funeral Service will be held from Edith Avenue United Baptist Church, Saint John on Tuesday, November 1, 2005 at 11 am with interment following in Ocean View Memorial Gardens.
