ENGELSBERG, Rose (nee Wilhelm). Peacefully in her ninety first year, surrounded by her family on Sunday, October 2, 2005. Beloved wife for fifty-four years of Abram Simcha. Loving and devoted mother and mother-in-law of DeDee and Sam Burko. Cherished bubby of Lawrence, Melanie and Ben. Proud great grandmother of Jordan Aaron Burko. She was a holocaust survivor who will be sadly missed by her family and all those whose lives she touched. The family would like to thank Dr. Tao Huynh, Dr. Suzanne Dube, and the entire staff of the short stay unit at the Montreal General Hospital for their exceptional care and compassion. Funeral service from Paperman and Sons, 3888 Jean Talon W. on Monday, October 3 at 12:15 pm. Burial at the Montreal Worker's Circle cemetery, de la Savane.
