DIAMOND, Ellie (Nee Belbin). Passed away peacefully on Monday, October 3, 2005 in the C.H.S.L.D. Bussey at the age of ninety years. Beloved wife of the late Mr. George Diamond. Surviving are her loving family, her daughters, Nora (Tony), May (Bill), Elizabeth, Margaret, her son, David (Lynn), twenty-two grandchildren, thirty-four great-grandchildren and one unborn great-great grandchild. Also surviving are two sisters and one brother, Hedley, Agnes (Leo) and Lucy, numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and her close friend, Sue Wright. She was predeceased by her daughter Ruth. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Ellie's name to the Heart and Stroke Foundation. The visitation will be held at Rideau Funeral Home, 4275 Sources Blvd., D.D.O., QC (514) 685-3344 on Thursday, October 6, 2005 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. The funeral will also be held at the Chapel of Rideau Funeral Home on Friday, October 7, 2005 at 11 a.m. Interment will follow in Rideau Memorial Gardens.
