JOHNSTON, Vyvienne (nee Acres) Peacefully at Arnprior and District Memorial Hospital on October 4, 2005, Vyvienne, beloved wife of Donald C. Johnston, in their 53rd year of marriage and love. Cherished mother of daughter Aynne Johnston of Kingston and son Douglas (Lori) of Arnprior. Predeceased by baby daughter Elizabeth. Proud grandmother of Christopher, Brett and Andrew. Dear sister to Beverly MacMartin of Winchester, Don Acres (Fran) of Kinburn and Dwayne Acres (Laura) of Osgoode. Devoted aunt to many nieces and nephews. Avid curler and recepient of the Special Achievement Award by the Province of Ontario for her contribution to the development of the sport of curling. Tributes, condolences, memories or donations may be made in memory of Vyvienne to the Wilbert Keon Ottawa Heart Institute, Grace St. Andrew's United Church Accessibility Fund or Arnprior and District Memorial Hospital. Visitations will be held at the Boyce Funeral Home 138 Daniel Street North, Arnprior Wednesday 7 to 9 p.m., Thursday 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral service will be held at Grace St. Andrew's United Church, 269 John Street, North, Arnprior on Friday, October 7, 2005 at 11 a.m. with interment following at Pakenham Union Cemetery.
