STERN, Geoffrey. February 5, 1935 - October 3, 2005 died suddenly while visiting Montreal. He had a distinguished career as a broadcaster with the BBC, and as a teacher in International Relations at the London School of Economics. He was a fine jazz pianist, loved gardening and since retirement devoted his time and passion to musical composition. Geoffrey was loved by many, and will be dearly missed by his children Jonty and Tiffany, and his companion Joy. Published in the Montreal Gazette on 10/5/2005
