KLEIN, Ernest (Ernie). On Monday, October 10, 2005. Loving husband for forty-nine years of Shirley Fitleberg. Devoted father and father-in-law of Maxine and Erik Schmeidler of Worcester, MA, Barry Klein, and Nancy Klein. Cherished grandfather of Ben and Melanie Schmeidler; Kyle, Brian, and Russell Klein. Dear brother and brother-in-law of Mariann and Bob Conley, and brother-in-law of Zella and the late George Fitleberg, Laura and Zvi Wolman, Albert Fitleberg, Diana and Joe Wexler. Son of the late Beatrice and the late Sol Klein, and son-in-law of the late Sarah and the late Barney Fitleberg. Sadly mourned by his many nieces and nephews, family and friends. Special thanks to Doctors Joseph Carlton and Aaron Hoffman of the Jewish General Hospital for their care and devotion. Funeral service from Paperman & Sons, 3888 Jean Talon West on Friday, October 14 at 11:30 a.m. Burial at the Knights of Pythias Association Section, Mount Pleasant Cemetery, Duvernay. Shiva at his residence. Due to the Festival of Succot shiva ends Tuesday, October 18 at noon.
