HASTEY, Geoffrey Geoff went home for Thanksgiving! A spectacular sunset beckoned Geoff after a year long battle with cancer. He strutted through the Gateway with his sense of humour and the love of all those who knew him, Sunday, October 9, 2005, in his 49th year. Son of the late Alfred and Constance Hastey. Beloved husband of Louise Rocheleau. Loving step-father of Josee-Anne Lamoureux. Dear brother of Lynn Artichuk. Brother-in-law to Rick Rocheleau (Christianne), Bob Rocheleau (Debby Young) and Dr. Mike Rocheleau (Ellen). Fondly remembered by many nieces, nephews and friends. On behalf of Geoff, the family wishes to thank the Staff and Doctors at the Ottawa Regional Cancer Centre for their wonderful care and support. Friends may pay respects at the Kelly Funeral Home, 2370 St. Joseph Blvd., Orleans, Thursday from 2 to 4 & 7 to 9 p.m. A Service in Memory of Geoff will be held Friday at The Life Centre, 2214 Innes Rd., at 11 a.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to the Elisabeth Bruyere Health Centre or the Ottawa Regional Cancer Centre Foundation would be appreciated.
