STEENBERGEN, Geertje "Kay" (nee Baas) Peacefully at the Peter D. Clark Centre on Wednesday, October 12, 2005, in her 94th year. Beloved wife of the late Lambertus. Loving mother of Nell Pocock (Bill), Ineke Hogewoning (Bert), Johanna Fox (Michael) and the late John Steenbergen (Lynn). Will be fondly remembered by her grandchildren Stephanie (Kieran), Bart (Lara), Michael (Annie), Sandra (Rob), Candis (Mark), Mark (Christine), Chris (Amanda), James and Heidi and her great-grandchildren Karie, Alicia, Kyle, Emily, Jillian, Piers and Martin. Also survived by family in St. Catharines and in The Netherlands. Friends may visit at the St. Laurent Chapel of Hulse, Playfair & McGarry, 1200 Ogilvie Road at Aviation Parkway,Ottawa on Saturday, October 15th, after 10:30 a.m. until service in the Chapel at 11:30 a.m. Interment Beechwood Cemetery. Memorial donations to Peter D. Clark Centre, 9 Meridian Place, Ottawa, K2G 6P8, would be appreciated. Special thanks to the staff at the Peter D. Clark Centre for their exceptional care.
