Sarah Jane MCSEVENEY

McSEVENEY, Sarah Jane 1974 - 2005 It is with deepest sorrow and regret the family announces the passing of Sarah Jane McSeveney, aged 31. Sarah Jane's life was cut short at such an early age by a tragic car accident in Squamish, B.C., on October 5, 2005 returning from the library. Sarah graduated from Carleton University and Algonquin College. She was a wonderful person who loved life and had many friends who are mourning her loss. Sarah touched so many lives in the four years she lived in Squamish, where she worked as an Early Childhood Educator. She was active in her community and had many hobbies including rock climbing, kayaking, and hiking. She was also an animal lover and a environmentalist. Sarah was the beloved daughter of William and Jane McSeveney. Beloved sister and best friend of Jessica Erin. Cherished granddaughter of Thomasina and the late Robert McSeveney and the loving granddaughter of Rita and the late Leonard Verdon. Friends may visit at the Central Chapel of Hulse, Playfair & McGarry 315 McLeod Street, on Friday, October 21, 2005 from 10:30 until service time in the chapel at 11:30 a.m. Interment Martindale Cemetery. A service celebrating the life of Sarah was held in Squamish on Saturday, October 8, 2005. All of Sarah's friends, neighbours, colleagues and the families of the children Sarah cared for were in attendance - for that our family is truly grateful and we appreciate the comfort they gave us.
