Isabel WILSON

RODGER, Isabel (nee Wilson) With much love and wonderful memories the family announce the death of Isabel Rodger in Ottawa on October 10, 2005 in her ninety-second year. Isabel was the much loved wife of Major General N. Elliot Rodger, C.B.E., C.D., the devoted mother of three sons, Dr. Wilson Rodger (Judith) of London Ont., Nicholas (Anne) of Sackville NB, and Elliot (Meredith) of Ottawa, the devoted grandmother of Milisa Burns (Andrew), Merewyn Hutchison (William), Adelia and Nell of Sackville NB, and David of Ottawa. She was a proud great-grandmother of Ian and Alexandra Burns. She was predeceased by her four sisters, Margaret Gamble, Elizabeth Dale-Harris, Anna Clark and Esther West, her brother William and a grandson Matthew. Isabel was the great-great-granddaughter of Nicholas Sparks. A family service was held at Christ Church Cathedral on Friday October 14, 2005. Interment Beechwood Cemetery.
