BAIN, Ethel Elizabeth (nee Prescott) Age 71. Of Fall River, Nova Scotia and most recently of Bedford, Nova Scotia, passed away on October 7, 2005, five months after her husband David Bain died on May 6, 2005. Born in Ottawa, she was the daughter of the late James and Margaret (McBride) Prescott. She is survived by her brothers Earl (Gail), Gordon, Clarence and Arnold all of Ottawa, Ontario; brother-in-law Marshall (Susan), Burlington, Ontario; nieces Christine and Heather; nephews Jeff and Jim. Cremation has taken place. A service to celebrate her life will be held on Saturday, October 22, 2005 at 11:00 a.m. in Bedford Baptist Church, Rev. Nelson Metcalfe and Rev. Dr. Ida Armstrong-Whitehouse officiating. A service of Committal for both Ethel and David Bain will be held on November 12, 2005 at 1:00 p.m. in Hillcrest Cemetery, Newington, Ontario. Donations in her memory may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society. Arrangements entrusted to T.K. Barnard Funeral Home, 1216 Bedford Highway, Bedford, Nova Scotia, B4A 1C3.
