GREENE, Alan Edward Absent from the body, present with the Lord, on Tuesday October 18, 2005 at age 84. Loved husband and best friend for sixty-four years of Myrtle (nee Stephens). Loving father of Mary Lee Hepburn (Lindsay) and Paul (Beverley Steel). Proud Grampa of Nancy Haughian (Sean), Deborah Boville (Tim), Amanda and Alaina Greene, Aubrey and Elissa McKown and great-grampa of Alyssa and Kelsey. Also survived by sisters Greta Brown, Verda Durston and brother Gordon. Friends may visit at the Central Chapel of Hulse, Playfair & McGarry, 315 McLeod Street on Thursday October 20, 2005 from 2 - 4 and 7 - 9 p.m. Funeral Service will be held at the Metropolitan Bible Church, 453 Bank at Gladstone on Friday October 21 at 1 p.m. Interment Capital Memorial Gardens.
