SZABADI, Alexander (Sanyi). Our very special father, father-in-law and grandfather passed away peacefully on Tuesday October 18, 2005. Husband of Edith Schwarcz. Father and father-in-law of Anita and Ron Gottesman and Shirley and Bradley Patt. Cherished grandfather of Eric, Daniel and Arielle Gottesman and Lara, Eli and Talia Patt. Respected brother, brother-in-law and uncle of Magda (Manci) and Esther Szabadi, Miriam and the late Andre(Bondi) Szabadi, Ronit, Gabi and Annalee Szabadi and their children. Predeceased by his mother and father and his siblings Leslie and Rosa who perished during the Holocaust. We would like to thank Dr. Susan Gold, Moish Bronet and the caring staff of 6NW at the Jewish General Hospital. Our heartfelt gratitude goes to our friend, Dr. Ruby Friedman whose caring kindness through the years was immeasurable. A special thank you to Beit Reim, Jerusalem and her team of caregivers and to his companion Arnold Baum. Our father taught us so many of life's lessons that we are privileged to pass on to our children. Daddy your 'edes kinscem' will always carry you with us. Graveside service on Sunday October 23 at 11 a.m. at the Beth Tikvah Congregation Section, Kehal Israel Cemetery, D.D.O. The family will receive condolence calls after the service at 139 Choquette, D.D.O. Formal Shiva will commence after the Festival of Succot to be observed by the family only in the strictest of privacy.
