FRIEDY, Earl Henry Passed away at St. Joseph's Health Centre, Toronto, on October 20, 2005 in his 89th year, after a courageous battle with numerous medical conditions. Beloved husband of Ethel (Cherry) nee Langton. Loving father of Rodney (Carolyn), Julie, Gary (Betty), Laurene and Karen Kolankowski (Stan). Proud grandfather of Russell, Alexander, Brett, Adam and Blake, Step-grandfather of Leah and Meghan. Brother-in-law of Wined (Gordon) and Bill (Carol). Predeceased by parents Amelia and Henry and brother Leonard. He will be fondly remembered by his many nieces, nephews and cousins. Earl served 5 years overseas with the Cameron Highlanders of Ottawa. He was an employee of Carling-O'Keefe from 1949 to 1982. Friends may call at the Turner & Porter Butler Chapel, 4933 Dundas St. W. (between Islington and Kipling Aves) on Sunday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral Mass to be held at Our Lady of Peace Church, 3914 Bloor St. W. on Monday, October 24, 2005 at 10 a.m. Cremation to follow. After the mass a time of fellowship will take place in the Town Hall at Wesburn Manor, 400 The West Mall. Thanks to the staff and nurses at Wesburn Manor, the Trillium and St. Joseph's Health Centres for their support and kindness to Earl and his family.
