Bess FARBER

FARBER, Bess Peacefully at Hillel Lodge on Saturday, October 29th, 2005 at the age of 100. Devoted wife of the late Abe Chalefsky and the late Max Farber. Dear step-mother of Miriam Chalefsky, Bernie (Karyn) Farber and Stanley (Mariana) Farber. Special grandmother to Gillian, Zachary, Max, Gedaliah (GG) and Eadan. Bess will be sadly missed by her sister-in-law Minna Schneiderman and by her nieces and nephews. A heartfelt thank-you to her caregiver Emilse, nurse Christine and all the staff at Hillel Lodge for their care and compassion. Shiva private. A Graveside Service will be held at the Jewish Community Cemetery, Bank Street, Ottawa on Sunday, October 30th, 2005 at 1 p.m. Those wishing may make donations to Hillel Lodge (728-3900).
