STRACHAN, Bessie F. Peacefully, at Broadview Retirement Lodge, Smiths Falls, on Saturday, October 29, 2005, Bessie (Brown) Strachan in her 96th year. Wife of the late Albert Strachan. Loved mother of Tom (Pauline) of Kanata, Frances (Bill) Carmody of Elliott Lake, John (Shelley) Strachan of Perth, Mary Lynn (Alex) Mathieson of Smiths Falls. Sadly missed by 8 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren. Predeceased by her brother and sisters. Fondly remembered by her family and many good friends. Friends may pay their respects at the Blair & Son Funeral Home, Smiths Falls, on Wednesday, November 2, 2005 from 1:00 p.m. followed by service in the chapel at 2:00 p.m. Interment, Hillcrest Cemetery.
