SHAPIRO, Katie (nee Elkin). On Friday, October 28, 2005. Beloved wife of the late Louis. Devoted mother and mother-in-law of Marylin and Jacky Ettedgui, Nora and Eric Novak, and Elwin Shapiro. Cherished Bubbie of Sarah and David Ettedgui, Sherri and Ruth Novak. Dear sister and sister-in-law of Rose Steinman, the late Cy and the late Ethel Elkin, the late Issie and the late Sophie Elkin, the late Anne and the late Nat Rabinovitch, the late Lily and the late Louis Witt, Ben and the late Sadie Mozen. Sister-in-law of Emma and the late Oscar Shister. She will be sadly missed by her nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. Special thanks to the ICU staff at the Jewish General Hospital.
