Mr. Percy Charles Burton February 01, 1910 - October 24, 2005 Funeral arrangements by Richmond Funeral Home Our Father, Our Grandfather, Our Great Grandfather. It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Percy Charles Burton on October 24th, 2005. Born February 1, 1910 in Prince Albert, Saskatchewan, he is survived by his brother Ed Burton, his children Pat, Jack (Anne) and Charlie (Abby), numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren and his long time friend Jim Burns. in 1945 Percy moved west and settled in his little home in Richmond, B.C. where he has lived for the last 60 years. He raised 3 kids on his own in a time that it was unheard of to do so. Percy was a proud employee of the American Can Campany where he was a machinist for 45 years. He was also blessed with 35 years of retirement. His retirment years were spent doing what he loved best: traveling and gardening. Percy did things his way! The stories are too many to tell, so we will keep them in our hearts and share them with the future generations until we meet again. Special thanks to Dr. Kallas and his staff for the outstanding care and respect they gave to our father. Percy will be sadly missed, but forever in our hearts. See you in the garden in the sky! "Send your bill in at the end of the month."
