Mr. William "Willie" McDermid October 23, 1912 - October 26, 2005 Funeral arrangements by Richmond Funeral Home Passed away quielty on October 26, 2005 at Fraserview Lodge in Richmond. Known as both Willie and Bill, he was a Richmond pioneer and lifelong resident. Fiercely independent, his passion was working with the land. He is survived by numerous nieces, nephews and relatives and friends and will be sadly missed by all who knew him. A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, November 12th at 12 noon in the chapel of Richmond Funeral Home, 8420 Cambie Road, Richmond. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the charity of your choice.
