Mrs. Hilda Margaret Stringer (née Stanton) January 22, 1909 - October 29, 2005 Funeral arrangements by Sands Funeral Chapel (Victoria) Stringer, Hilda Margaret passed away peacefully at Mount St. Mary Hospital on October 29th, 2005. Predeceased by her husband, Stanley. Survived by daughter, Joan and son, Richard (Francine); grandsons, Robin (Eleanor) and Paul; great grandchildren, Christopher, Sarah, and Tabetha. Hilda was active in the Girl Guide organization in many capacities including district commissioner in the Toronto area. She was also active in church especially in the choir and even played organ at St. Mark's Anglican Church in Victoria. Donations may be made to Mount St. Mary in Hilda's memory: 861 Fairfield Road, Victoria, BC V8V 5A9. Memorial Service will held at Sands Funeral Chapel, ”Memorial Chapel of Chimes", 1803 Quadra Street, Victoria, BC on Thursday November 10, 2005 at 2:00 pm.
