Lena Dawson September 29, 1908 - October 29, 2005 Funeral arrangements by Chapel Lawn Funeral Home With deepest sorrow we announce the passing of Lena Dawson, our beloved mother, grandmother and great-grandmother on October 29, 2005 at the age of 97 at West Park Manor. Lena was predeceased by her husband George in January 2000. She will be lovingly remembered by her daughter Joan Nixon; grandchildren Allan (Gloria) Nixon, Lori (Randy) Swane; her great grandchildren Kristin and Erika Swane, and Gina Nixon; sister-in-law Pat Manning ; nieces Patricia and Bobbi in Michigan as well as other relatives and friends and her friends at the Betelstadur. Mom touched the lives of many people in a special way. She was loving and caring and left many wonderful memories for us to cherish. In keeping with mom’s wishes, cremation has taken place a private family service will be held at Chapel Lawn Funeral Home. The family extends a special thank you to Dr. L.C. Bartlett also Dr. J. Johnston, nurse Erin, and the rest of the staff at CancerCare Manitoba. The family would also like to thank the staff at West Park Manor for their care.
