PORTELANCE, Réjeanne (née Joliat) The family announces with sorrow her death, Saturday January 3, 2004 in Sudbury, at the age of 73 years. Daughter of the late Adrien Joliat and of the late Pomela Joliat (née Mainville). Wife of the late Claude Portelance predeceased in 1992. Loving mother of Michel (Ben) (wife Liliane) of Azilda, Gilles (wife Monique) of Garson and Sylvie Beaudry (husband Alain) of Ottawa. Dear sister of Hortense Labine (late Robert) of Azilda, Claire Blais (late Omer) of Chelmsford, Roger Joliat (Rollande), Richard Joliat (Connie) both of Azilda, Gérard Joliat (Rolande) of Chelmsford, Jean-Jacques Joliat (Florence) of Cartier and Marcel Joliat (late Hélène, wife Cécile) of Kirkland Lake. Predeceased by her sister Anne-Marie Miron (Jean-Paul wife Marthe of Timmins). Sadly missed and lovingly remembered by her 7 grandchildren Shawn, Daniel, Natalie (husband Michel Chamberland) of Garson, Mélanie, Alain Alexandre and Matthieu. Along with her husband Claude, they owned the Pinto Confectionery in Chelmsford for many years. A woman of faith and conviction, Réjeanne was a member of "Les Dames Auxiliaires des Chevaliers de Colomb Conseil 6258-Vallée Centre" and a former leader of "Les Guides de la Paroisse L'Annonciation". The family will receive friends at the CO-OPERATIVE FUNERAL HOME, 4691 R R 15, Chelmsford, Tuesday from 2 to 5 and 7 to 9:30 pm. Mass of Christian burial will be held Wednesday January 7, 2004 at 11 am in St. Joseph Church, Chelmsford. Donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated. - 1/5/2004 - ID3239771
