Helen Rock (née Lacey) February 01, 1953 - October 31, 2005 ROCK, Helen (nee Lacey) 52 years, passed away after a courageous battle with cancer on October 31, 2005 with her family by her side. Beloved wife of 34 years to her loving husband Sherry. Dearest mother of Ted and Denise Courneya, Scott and Tina Larocque, and Bryan. Dear grandmother of Kassandra Ann Marie, Amber Brynn, Kobie, Brianna and Faith. Survived by her father, mother, 2 brothers and sister and their families. Special sister of Debbie Renaud and her husband Gerry. Brother and sisters-in-law Ed and Elsie Rock, Theresa and Barry Dennison, Paul and Gwen Rock, Armand Rock, Len Rock and partner Helen, Hugh and Leona Humphrey, Wayne and Phyllis Sanford, and Robert and Shirley Gosselin. Loving Godmother of Kim Sanford. Many close nieces, nephews, great nieces & nephews, and many friends also survive. Dear sister-in-law of Gail, Irene and Ruth. Visitation will be held from 7-9 p.m. Wednesday, November 2, 2005 and 2-5 and 7-9 p.m. Thursday. The Funeral Service will be held Friday, November 4, at 8:45 a.m. from the Janisse Brothers-Marcotte Funeral Home, 1139 Ouellette Ave. (253-5225) to Assumption Church for Mass of Christian Burial at 9:30 a.m. Parish Prayers Thursday evening at 8:30 p.m. Interment Heavenly Rest Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to the Hospice Building Fund. A special thanks to Helen's nurse, Kelly Conway who was so kind and compassionate with Helen throughout her illness A tree will be planted in memory of Helen Rock in the Janisse Bros.-Marcotte Heritage Forest.
