Tammy Miu-Wan Lui March 14, 1948 - November 01, 2005 Funeral arrangements by Jenkens Funeral Home Cremation and Reception Centre Mrs. Tammy Lui, dedicated mother and loving wife, aged 57 years, resident of Thunder Bay passed away on November 1, 2005 at the Thunder Bay Regional Health Sciences Centre with her family at her side. Born in Hong Kong, she was educated there and was employed in the field of social work. She immigrated to Canada in 1972, moving directly to Thunder Bay where she married Shen-Wing Lui on October 7, 1972. A terrific wife, Tammy devoted her life to her family. She loved and enjoyed gardening, cooking and bowling. She was a member of the Thunder Bay Chinese Association. Tammy accepted Jesus and was baptized in 2001 at the Living Stone Assembly in Toronto. Her spirit and patience touched everyone who knew her. Survived by her husband Shen-Wing, three children Joanne (Lui) Rogers (Mark) of Mississauga, Patrick Lui and Janice Lui; one sister; four brothers; her mother and several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her father and one brother. Visitation for Mrs. Tammy Lui will be held on Thursday, November 3, 2005 at Jenkens Funeral Home from 7 – 9 p.m. Funeral service to be held in Toronto. Memorial donations to the Liver Foundation or the Thunder Bay Regional Health Sciences Centre would be appreciated by the family. Tammy will be deeply missed and cherished forever.
