PROCTOR, IRA JOHN - The death of Ira John Proctor, age 86, husband of the late Ella (Urquhart) Proctor, of St. George, NB, formerly of Rothesay, NB, occurred at Ridgewood Veteran's Hospital, on Thursday, November 3, 2005. He was the son of the late William and Harriett (Surette) Proctor. Ira is survived by sons, John and Miki Proctor, Dartmouth, NS, and Jim and Doris Proctor, St. George, NB, sister, Fanny Ryan, Hampton, sisters-in-law, Evelyn McDonald and Shirley Bettle, Hampton, and several nieces, nephews and cousins. He was predeceased by his brother Charlie and sisters, Della Vardon, Helen Gordon, Elizabeth Beck, Ada Pettie and Rita Kervin. He is resting at Sherwood's Funeral Home, 18 Scovil Road, Norton, NB (839-2156) with visiting, Saturday from 6 to 8 p.m. and Sunday, from 2 to 8 p.m. Funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m., on Monday, November 7, 2005, from Sherwood's Chapel, followed by interment in Bayview Cemetery, Hatfield Point, NB.
