Mr. Harry David Ronson July 01, 1904 - November 06, 2005 Funeral arrangements by Bowman Funeral Home RONSON: Harry David, 101years. After a life well lived, Harry passed away at the St. Andrew's Residence, his home for 18 years, on November 6, 2005. He was born July 1, 1904, the son of John Albert Ronson and Sarah Axford, spending his early years in Kent Bridge, Chatham and Wallaceburg. In 1988 he was predeceased by his wife of 59 years, the former Anna (Reycraft) of Glencoe. He is the last surviving member of his family having been predeceased by siblings Allison, Arthur, Bruce, Edna, Myrtle, Margaret, George and Glenn all of whom lived to their late 80's and 90's. He worked for the Royal Bank of Canada and in 1927 he started with Chrysler Canada where he worked for 42 years, most of those years as Credit Manager, retiring in 1969. He was a longtime member of Beach Grove Golf Club, Windsor where he and Anna spent many happy days. He was an enthusiastic hunter and enjoyed a good game of bridge and cribbage. He was a loyal member and elder of First St. Andrew's Presbyterian Church in WIndsor until transferring to Chatham where he joined First Presbyterian Church. He leaves remembering him several nieces and nephews and their families of both the Ronsons and Reycrafts. Also the kind and caring staff of St.. Andrew's Residence. Friends will be received at the Bowman Funeral Home, 4 Victoria Avenue, Chatham (519-352-2390) for visitation on Tuesday, November 8 from 2-4pm and where funeral service will be conducted on Wednesday, November 9, 2005 at 1:00pm with Rev. Michael Maroney of First Presbyterian Church officiating. Interment at Oakland Cemetery, Glencoe. Contributions to St. Andrew's Residence or First Presbyterian Church would be appreciated.
