Mr. Allan K. McCagherty October 07, 1930 - November 06, 2005 Funeral arrangements by Glenwood Funeral Home Mr. Allan K. McCagherty of Edmonton, Alberta passed away Sunday, November 6, 2005, at the age of 75, after a valiant fight against cancer. Allan was born in Noranda, Quebec and as a young man traveled out west on a harvest excursion. He made Alberta his heart and home working extensively in the construction industry for the past 55 years. He leaves to mourn his loving wife of 50 years, Doreen, three daughters; Judy (Dan), Jeanne (Abbey) and Colleen (Chester) and one son; Kenneth (Janet), Grandchildren; Christine, Kathryn, Megan, Scott, Rebecca, Hannah, Danial, Tiffany, and Kylie-Jo as well as two great grandsons; Elijah and Joshua. He is also mourned by his sisters Judy and Jane (Larry) and one brother, Jack (Vera) as well as numerous friends and relatives. He was predeceased by his parents, Kenneth and Jeanne and two brothers; Robert and Patrick and sister, Rita Lefebvre. A Memorial Service will be held Wednesday, November 9, 2005 at 3:00 p.m. at Glenwood Funeral Home, south of Wye Road on Range Road 232, Sherwood Park.
