Mrs. Romkje Grin (née Steenbeek) October 24, 1919 - November 07, 2005 Funeral arrangements by Bowman Funeral Home GRIN : Romkje a resident of Chatham passed away peacefully Monday, November 7, 2005 at her home in her 87th year. Beloved wife of Simon for 60 years. Dear mother of Margie (John) of Thamesford , Jacob (Cora) of Dunnville, Elizabeth (Peter) of Cambridge and Jim (Jeannine) of Pain Court. Romkje will be remembered by 11 grandchildren and 21 great grandchildren. Predeceased by 4 sisters, Anna of California, Tjiske and Coba of The Netherlands and Trientje of Chatham. The family will receive friends and relatives on Wednesday, November 9 from 7-9 p.m. at Bowman Funeral Home, 4 Victoria Ave. (519-352-2390). A funeral service will be held Thursday, November 10 at 11:00 a.m from First Christian Reformed Church (25 Tweedsmuir Ave East). Interment will follow service at Maple Leaf Cemetery.
