Lucia Amato (née Gatto) March 08, 1962 - November 07, 2005 Peacefully, in her 44th year, surrounded by her loving family on Monday, November 7, 2005 at the Henderson General Hospital. Beloved wife and best friend of Vito for 20 years. Loving mother of Alexandra. Cherished daughter of Augusto and Lea Gatto. Loving daughter-in-law of John and Joanne Amato. Sister and sister-in-law of Laura Gatto, Linda and Keith Christiansen, Paul and Vesna Amato, and John and Rosanna Amato. Sadly missed by many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and friends in Canada, USA and Italy. Lucii had a passion for living and for her work and currently held the position of Visual Director for Laura Canada. Resting at FRISCOLANTI FUNERAL CHAPEL, 43 Barton Street East (near James) on Wednesday and Thursday from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. Vigil Prayers on Thursday at 8:30 p.m. Funeral Mass will be offered at St. Ann's Church (Wilson Street, Ancaster) on Friday, November 11, 2005 at 10:30 a.m. Entombment to follow at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.
