Frank Carl Roy Dickson MIRAMICHI, NB - The death of Frank Carl Roy Dickson, husband of Shirley Dickson of Miramichi, NB, occurred on Monday, November 7, 2005 at the age of 78. Born in Campbelton, NB, he was the son of the late Frank Hunter and Mabel (Stevens) Dickson. Frank was a member of St. Mary's Roman Catholic Church, retired certified Drug Clerk from C.M. Dickson & Sons, member of the Father Dixon Council, 4th Degree Knights, he was a Paul Harris Fellow and Past President of the Newcastle Rotary Club, Honorary Director of the MRDC, Past President of the Newcastle Curling Club, past Treasurer of NBA and a member of the NB Pharmaceutical Society. Besides his wife, Shirley, Frank is survived by two daughters, Carol Cannon (Steve) of Ottawa, ON, Ann Kennedy (Bill) of Miramichi, NB; one sister, Marie Morrison (Sterling) of Moncton, NB; three grandchildren, Mike Cannon, Kristen Cannon, Jamie Kennedy and several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by one daughter, Frances; one sister, Lois; and two brothers, Hal and Don. The family will receive visitors at Bell's Funeral Home on Wednesday, November 9, 2005, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9pm. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday, November 10, 2005 at 10am with Father David Martin officiating. As expressions of sympathy, donations may be made to the NB Heart and Stroke Foundation, NB Kidney Foundation or to the Canadian Cancer Society.
