Helen Jean (Bobbie) (nee Dickie) McCombe 1933 - 2005 CALGARY, AB - Helen Jean (Bobbie) McCombe (nee Dickie), beloved wife of Mike McCombe, of Calgary, passed away on Monday, November 7, 2005 after a lengthy illness at the age of 72 years. Bobbie was born on April 24, 1933 in Campbellton, NB. She met and married Mike McCombe in New Brunswick. Bobbie was employed with the Government of Canada from 1969 until 1993, twelve years in Saint John, and thirteen years in Calgary. Besides her loving husband, Helen is survived by two sons, Michael and Richard; and her daughter, Judith, all of Calgary. She is also survived by her father, Robert Dickie, of Dalhousie, NB; two brothers and sisters-in-law, George and Patricia Dickie of Moncton, NB, and Robert Jr. and Margaret Dickie of New Glasgow, NS; as well as several cousins, nieces and nephews. Bobbie was predeceased by her mother, Jean Dickie, in 1977. Funeral Services will be held at McINNIS & HOLLOWAY'S Crowfoot Chapel (82 Crowfoot Circle N.W.) on Friday, November 11, 2005 at 2:30 p.m. Graveside Service will be held in Tyne Valley, PEI at a later date.
