Bernice E. O'CONNOR

Bernice E. (O'Connor) Bastarache Bernice E. (O'Connor) Bastarache 74 of Moncton, passed away at the Moncton Hospital on Wednesday, November 9, 2005. Born in Elgin, she was the daughter of the late Warren and Mary (Smith) O'Connor. Bernice was a retired Secretary with The Unemployment Insurance Commission with 14 years service. She attended St. Bernard's Roman Catholic Church and Holy Family Roman Catholic Church, former member of St. Bernard's Roman Catholic Church C.W.L., former member Beausejour Curling Club, former secretary of the Moncton P.C. Party (Federal and Provincial), Past President of People's Park Tower Seniors Association, volunteer for years with Senior Citizens. Bernice will be sadly missed by her daughters, Cathy Reinders (Bill) Bonnie Cudmore (Glenn), Beth Bastarache: Son Gary (Nicole), all of Moncton: Grandchildren; Erika, Julie, Nicholas, Christopher: Brothers; Walter O'Connor (Jennie), Bob O'Connor (Leona), both of Moncton: Brothers-in-Law; Several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by Sisters: Marie, Mildred, Marge, Joan and Dorothy; brother, Joseph. Visitation at Ferguson Knowles Funeral Home, 1657 Mountain Road, Moncton (858-1995) Thursday 2 to 4, 7 to 9pm. Funeral Mass at St. Bernard's Roman Catholic Church, Friday November 11, 2005, 4pm. Rev. Allison Carroll officiating. Reception following the service. Interment, Our Lady of Calvary Cemetery.
