Joan Margaret QUARTLEY

BESHARA, JOAN MARGARET - The death of Joan Margaret Beshara of Rothesay, NB, wife of the late Christie Frederick Beshara, occurred on Thursday, November 10, 2005 at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Born in Saint John, NB a daughter of the late James Moody and Margaret (Cook) Quartley; Joan was an avid bowler and enjoyed Bingo. Survived by one son, Fred (Wendy) Beshara of Rothesay; one brother, James "Bud" Quartley of Quispamsis; two sisters, Elizabeth "Betty" Quartley of Rothesay and Constance (Dale) Grass of Saint John; two grandchildren, Frederick "Fred Jr." (Kelly) Beshara and Carrie Lynn Beshara (Ryan Wallace); two great-grandchildren, Taylor Lynn and Darren Frederick M. Beshara; and several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by one sister, Jean aged six years; husband, Christie Frederick Beshara in 1997; and grandson, Stephen Thomas Beshara in 2000. Arrangements are under the care of Brenan's Select Community Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John (506) 634-7424. By Joan's request there will not be any visiting or funeral service; following cremation a private interment will be held in Fernhill Cemetery.
