Steve Francis Walach September 25, 1936 - November 10, 2005 Funeral arrangements by James H Sutton Funeral Home After a long illness, Steve passed away on November 10, 2005 at Hotel Dieu Grace Hospital, at the age of 69. Beloved husband of 42 years to Charlene (nee Fountaine). Loving father of Scott and Shari; Stephen and Anita; Rick and Michelle; Tim and Marilou; and Dave and Christine. Proud grandpa to Stephanie, Ricky, Steven, Amanda, Randy, Chase, Kaitlyn, Matthew, Tristan, Gabrielle, Dawson, Julia, and Michael. Dear brother of Janet Buncick and Anne Kost, both of London; Rose Pilon and Daniel, Sarnia; Josie Stacyszyn and Nick; and predeceased by Mary Watson. Brother-in-law to Al Watson; Dave Fountaine and Georgette; and Diane Murtagh and Jack. Steve will also be missed by many nieces, nephews and friends. His family was always his number one priority. He volunteered as an A.A. & M. Ambulance Attendant, was Past President of the Amherstburg Minor Hockey, an avid fisherman, and a long time employee of Allied Chemical. Steve was also well known for his love of music, especially polka, by playing the accordion in the band “Mood Makers”. At his request, there will be no visitation. Cremation has taken place. A Memorial Mass will be held on Saturday, November 19, 2005 at St. John the Baptist Church, 225 Brock St., Amherstburg at 11 a.m. Interment of ashes to follow at St. John the Baptist Cemetery.
